World's Cheapest Fridge?

Launched in India the ChotuKool is portable, top opening and weighs only 7.8kg. It uses half the energy of a regular refrigerator and stays cool for hours without power.

Instead of a compressor, ChotuKool uses a cooling chip and a fan, similar to what your computer uses, which allows it to be run on batteries.
